Roche Mazet Merlot attracts the eye to its lovely intense, almost dark red colour with purple and violet tints. It has an elegant nose with aromas of fresh and jammy red fruit, mingling cherry and blackberry. The red fruit aromas on the palate are joined by flavours of spice and chocolate, wrapped up in an envelope of velvety tannins. The slightly woody fruit of the Merlot is round and delicate, taking on its full generosity.
